Neuriva vs Noocube – Which One Is A Better Nootropic?

Summary:

While neither Neuriva nor Noocube makes it onto our top nootropic list, the winner of the two is Noocube. It has more ingredients than Neuriva and you are going to notice a more substantial effect on your memory and focus. That said, Noocube is far from a perfect supplement. Some ingredients in the formula are useless, and there are many missing that would make this a far better product. Because we’ve seen better alternatives on the market, we can’t recommend these two supplements.

Neuriva vs Noocube – The Overview

Neuriva

Neuriva Brain Performance is a dietary supplement manufactured by Schiff Vitamins from Salt Lake City, Utah. It comes in two different forms: gummies and capsules. There is Neuriva Plus available on the market, which is slightly different than the classic Neuriva, but today our main focus will be on the classic version (aka, Original Neuriva).

There are 30 capsules included per container, enough to provide you with a month’s supply.

Why is Neuriva so interesting? According to the manufacturer, it should help you with:

  • Increasing mental focus
  • Improving memory, learning, and accuracy
  • Better concentration

But, does it actually work? By checking out the ingredients inside, we’ll have that answer. Let’s see its competitor first!

Noocube

Noocube is a dietary supplement claimed to deliver almost the same benefits as Neuriva. It should:

  • Sharpen your mental focus
  • Relieve stress levels
  • Improve memory
  • Eliminate brain fog
  • Increase productivity

Noocube comes in a form of capsules as well as its competitor, but it delivers 60 of them per container. However, the serving size is 2 capsules daily, so one bottle of Noocube should last you for one month.

The claimed benefits sound promising, but again, are they true? Let’s find out.

Neuriva vs Noocube – The Ingredients

Neuriva’s Formula

Each serving (1 capsule) of Neuriva provides you with:

  • 100mg of Coffee Fruit Extract
  • 100mg of Phosphatidylserine

To start on a positive note, both Phosphatidylserine and Coffee Fruit Extract have some evidence going for them for improving brain health. They come in light and safe doses in Neuriva.

Coffee Fruit is packed with polyphenols and antioxidants, which are credited for all the benefits provided by consuming this ingredient. According to a study on NCBI, Coffee Fruit can relieve anxiety and boost BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factors). This builds paths in the brain to help you process information and learn new things faster.

There is only one slight issue in that the coffee fruit extract that Neuriva uses is not the same thing as the whole coffee fruit concentrate powder, which is used in most studies. Anything can be extracted from the coffee fruit – water, fiber, trace nutrients, anything! Neuriva doesn’t show what exactly it uses.

Phosphatidylserine, on the other hand, has the potential to improve short-term and long-term memory. It supports cognition, can improve focus and concentration, and make you solve problems more easily. Phosphatidylserine supports locomotor functions too.

But, something is missing. There are only 2 ingredients in Neuriva’s formula, which is not enough for substantial improvement in brain health. If it contained additional ingredients that synergize together in the best brain supplements, such as Bacopa Monnieri, Citicoline, or Rhodiola Rosea, Neuriva would be a far better nootropic.

Unfortunately, we don’t think it will benefit you significantly as it is.

Noocube’s Ingredient Profile

Each serving (2 capsules) provides you with:

  • Vitamin B1 – 1.1mg
  • Vitamin B7 – 50mcg
  • Vitamin B12 – 2.5mcg
  • Bacopa Monnieri – 250mg
  • L-Tyrosine – 250mg
  • Cat’s Claw Extract – 175mg
  • Oat Straw Extract – 150mg
  • L-Theanine – 100mg
  • Alpha GPC – 50mg
  • Huperzia Serrata – 20mg
  • Lutemax – 20mg
  • Resveratrol – 14.3mg
  • Pterostilbene – 140mcg

As you can see, Noocube uses many more different ingredients than Neuriva, and some that we’re looking for, such as Bacopa Monnieri.

According to Examine, Bacopa Monnieri can improve memory and cognitive function, and decrease stress.

Another interesting ingredient is Huperzia Serrata. According to NCBI, Huperzia can treat cognitive dysfunction and prevent memory deficits.

Another ingredient we’re looking for and that we see in Noocube’s formula is L-Theanine. L-Theanine is an amino acid found in tea that can reduce stress, anxiety, and improve sleep by making you feel more relaxed. It can improve cognition, especially when taken with caffeine, according to Examine.com.

Most of the other ingredients in the formula are quite beneficial for the brain. However, some of them are useless, and many ingredients are missing such as Citicoline, Rhodiola Rosea, or Lion’s Mane Mushroom which would substantially increase Noocube’s effectiveness in improving brain function & overall health.

Will Noocube work for some conditions such as ADHD? We don’t think it’s a good option. It may help to alleviate some of the symptoms, such as lack of focus, but Noocube can’t do much if someone is diagnosed with ADHD.

Our Commentary on Neuriva vs Noocube’s Ingredients

If we had to choose between these two options, we’d definitely go for Noocube. Noocube delivers more ingredients than Neuriva and should help you improve memory, and improve cognitive functions to some degree. Still, Noocube is not perfect. It uses some unnecessary ingredients and lacks some other core inclusions which would make it a more effective nootropic. We think you can find better options on the market.

Neuriva vs Noocube – Side Effects

Neuriva and Noocube shouldn’t cause any side effects if you follow the recommended doses. As always, consult with your healthcare provider if you’re not sure if these are the right supplements for you.

Cost & Where to Buy?

You can find Neuriva on Amazon for the price of $16.00 for 30 capsules, and on the official Schiff website for $32.99. It’s a relatively affordable supplement if you purchase it from a retailer.

As for Noocube, you can purchase it on the official website for the price of $59.99 per jar or in Walmart for $29.95, which is a far better deal.

Conclusion

If you want to improve brain function, cognition, and overall brain health, if we had to choose between Neuriva ad Noocube, we’d go for Noocube. Noocube uses far more effective ingredients than Neuriva, but still, some ingredients it contains are unproven and ineffective. Many nutrients are missing from Neuriva and Noocube which would increase their potential when it comes to improving your long-range brain function.

We recommend searching for a different product. These should help you to a little degree, but don’t expect substantial results.
